Cowbridge Shotokan Karate Club has developed a very successful squad, that travels the UK, and the rest of the World to compete and represent not only the dojo, but also Wales. The dojo has produced National, British, International and even World medalists. In the 19th World Championships held in Germany in 2011, club member Gemma Hackman took Gold in both Kata and Kumite, while other members Emma Robins and Michael Hackman took Silver and Bronze medals.
